Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s first directorial venture, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, is finally out on Netflix today (September 18). The web series stars Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba and Raghav Juyal in key roles. Ahead of its release, Lakshya had an interaction with a media portal, where he opened up about a valuable lesson he learnt from Aryan Khan.

Lakshya is all praise for Aryan Khan

In an interview with Etimes, Lakshya revealed that Aryan Khan is original, and his filmmaking style proves his originality. He said, “I had a certain perception about Aryan. I had seen him socially and interacted with him. I didn’t know what show he was making. Audition ke scenes kaafi different the from the show we were making. EXCLUSIVE When asked what makes Aryan Khan more unique than other directors, Lakshya explained, “Many upcoming directors work as ADs before directing a film. Assist karte karte unka ek style ban jaata hai. But with Aryan that was not the case and which is why he is so original. He sees his scenes in a particular way. There was a shot where I had to run, and he suggested that I run in a particular way. Once I saw the scene I realised how valuable his input was. Yeh unki schooling hai, Shah Rukh Khan sir ke bete hain woh. I learnt how to take risks, not follow the template, break the rules and just have fun, from him.” Lakshya also revealed that people might think Aryan Khan is serious, but he has a funny side. He called him ‘naughty’. The Kill actor said, “Just like Raghav Juyal (his co-star) even Aryan has a funny bone. He gives you freedom aur aap khul jaate ho as an actor. When you grow up in Shah Rukh Khan’s household, you have a certain attitude and style. He has a great personality. We used to think he is stern and stoic and very quiet. But he is very naughty. We used to play video games, watch movies, have burgers and bond like how regular guys bond.” Talking about The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, the web series has been receiving a solid response from the masses.
