four years to recover from the split, which affected him emotionally. Even at 60, you have a romance in your life."Aamir responded, "There are two ways to look at it, You people haven't been through such a traumatic break-up like I have. I was very close Reena and I was very close to Kiran. I mean, 'was' is the wrong word. I still am very close to Reena and Kiran both. So when you are with a person for such an extended period of time, like 16 years... Reena and I grew up together."He added, "When you go through something that doesn't work out it's a hit. And you have to recover from that. It took me four years to recover.
