It was earlier today when Kareena announced that she has begun shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s directorial, titled Daayra. She took to social media to share the news, posting a behind-the-scenes video that offers a sneak peek into the team’s preparations over the past few months. Also, earlier today, it was reported that Kareena has been roped in by Rhea Kapoor for Crew 2, a sequel to the 2024 film also starring Kriti Sanon and Tabu. Till now, only Kareena has been locked for the movie. Report added, "Kareena has already shown interest in Crew 2, and is waiting to hear the full screenplay before signing the dotted lines. Things are in the nascent stages at the moment, but the entire team is excited to take the franchise route for Crew." Coming back to Daayra, the project is also to have Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in a key role.
