Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc to release in India without any cuts

The demand for anime in India and around the world is at an all-time high, as Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle broke several records earlier this month. Demon Slayer has become the biggest Japanese movie ever after earning over $555 globally. Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) without any visual cuts and has been granted an A rating. The film's runtime is 102 minutes (1 hour, 42 minutes).

The official synopsis for the anime film produced by MAPPA stated, "Denji became Chainsaw Man, a boy with a devil’s heart, and is now part of Special Division 4’s devil hunters. After a date with Makima, the woman of his dreams, Denji takes shelter from the rain. There he meets Reze, a girl who works in a café.”

The anime film is based on an original story by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, the new film is written by Hiroshi Seko.
