Gaurav S Bajaj on reuniting with Nikki Sharma for Dhaakad Beera
When asked how he feels reuniting with Nikki after a gap, for the show Dhaakad Beera, and if the brother-sister bond between the two feels god-gifted. He responded, "Ye bonding humari god gifted hai. Humne pichle show main jitna samay bitaya tha saath main, wo ek waisa feel hote ja raha tha. Aur later on, we felt it also. Show ke baad 1.5 years connected
rahe the. I always felt that ki ye mujhe as a friend call nahi kar rahi hai. As a bhai ke naate kuch haq se pooch rahi hai. Usne is beech main jitna bhi kuch kiya mujhse pooch ke kiya hai." ( Translation: Our connection feels truly god-gifted. We spent a lot of time together during our previous show, and over time, it started to feel real. Even after the show ended, we stayed in touch for about a year and a half. I always felt like she wasn’t calling me just a friend—she would talk to me like a brother, asking things with a certain right. Everything she did during that time, she consulted me first.)
Gaurav S Bajaj on playing sibling with Nikki Sharma for Dhaakad Beera
He went on to say, "So when we found out we’d be playing siblings, and we would be playing the main characters, something felt exciting, like this is going to be fun. It’s going to be that kind of story again."When asked whether their natural bond would make acting easier, Gaurav responded, "
Nahi, ye galat hai kyunki isme sabse jyada responsibility aati hai, ki jab aap camera ke samne rehte ho, apko us line, scene or mood ke hisab se karna padta hai. But Nikki aur meri Bhai-Behen wali bonding hai na wo wesi hi wali bonding hai jo usually bhai behen ladte hai jjagadtey hai, majaak karte hai. Toh mere saath uska as a protector as a bachchi, hamesha feel hua. It is going to be easy to portray the emotions, but as per the scene, script aur kahaani, hum kya kya aapko dikha sakte hai, kamaal ki cheezein hai jo mujhe pata hai. Dekhiye abhi bohot saari cheezein aayengi."ALSO READ: Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan Is 'Fatherly' This Time, Says Former Contestant Dalljiet Kaur - 'This Season Is Different' | EXCL(Not really, because it actually brings more responsibility. When you're in front of the camera, you have to stay true to the scene, the mood, and the lines. But the brother-sister bond Nikki and I share is very real - it’s the kind where siblings fight, joke around, and have fun. I've always felt protective of her, like she’s my little sister. It’ll definitely be easier to show emotions on screen because the bond is real. But depending on the scenes, script, and storyline, there are so many amazing things we’re going to show. Just wait- there’s a lot more to come.)
