On Instagram, Aryan posted his Diwali pics with Walker who plays the title character and wished fans, "Happy Diwali from the two greatest brown boys in Vancouver (and Sat)." In his comments, he cheekily added, "Thanks again Walker for lending me the kurta!"

Walker and Aryan's Percy Jackson co-stars also commented on the fun Diwali pics. Saara Chaudry, who plays Zoë Nightshade in the new season, joked, "Walker is my favorite gora pakora," while Deadpool & Wolverine's Dafne Keen, who is Artemis, wished them, "Happy Diwali!!!" Olive Abercrombie, who plays Bianca di Angelo in Season 3, added, "Beautiful evening with beautiful people." Saraa also shared her selfie with Walker and Aryan in her photo dump as she posted, "The sweetest Diwali." Walker was seen posing with Aryan and Saraa's families for Diwali. Saara even snuck in a picture of Aryan wearing a T-shirt that read, "White Boy of the Year."

Dafne and Olive also commented on Saraa's photos. Dafne wrote, "Aweeee this is so sweet!!!!!!," while Olive added, "Everyone looked [fire emoji]." The second season of Percy Jackson will be released on December 10 on JioHotstar. The rest of the cast includes Leah Sava Jeffries, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, Daniel Diemer, and Aleks Paunovic. The cast is currently filming Season 3, which is expected to release in 2026.
