Sneha Wagh has not shied away from speaking up about mental health. In a recent interview with Telly Talk India ’s special segment, Zindagi Uncut, the actress recalled her father’s words on youngsters
falling prey to suicidal thoughts. Sneha credited her family for being her backbone and supporting her through a dark phase.

Sneha said in the interview that she doesn’t support ‘self-killing’ due to depression. The actress further recalled her father expressing concern over the death of a ‘young’ actor. “Apne maa baap ke baare mein bhi nahi sochte,” the actress quoted her father. Sneha Wagh on losing colleague Tunisha Sharma in 2022
In 2022, Sneha lost her colleague Tunisha Sharma to suicide. They worked in Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh. She was 20. Sharma allegedly died by suicide on December 24, 2022, on the set of her TV show, Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. Tunisha was found hanging in the make-up room and declared dead on arrival at the hospital. Her co-star, Sheezan Khan, saw her first and took her to the hospital.In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sneha said, “Tunisha was a very chirpy girl. We’ve worked together. Always a happy-go-lucky person! But there’s always an other side to every person. In India, mental health is still not normalised. Time and again we’re ignoring the mental health issues. We need more awareness. I know her mother, I feel so sorry for them. Deepest condolences.”While Sneha’s statements hinted at Tunisha’s suicide, the actress didn’t mention her name throughout the interview with Telly Talk India.
