
At least 18 people were killed after a massive landslide in Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur district buried a private bus under heavy debris on Tuesday. Several passengers are still feared trapped as rescue
operations continue. Bilaspur Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar confirmed to Times Now that the death toll from the landslide incident in Bilaspur has reached 19. Three people have been rescued alive, and a total of 30 passengers were on board the bus. Rescue operations are ongoing to locate and assist those trapped.Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed condolences over the Bilaspur landslide incident. He assured that the state government stands firmly with the affected families and will provide all possible assistance during this difficult time. A video from the site showed a JCB clearing debris as several men worked frantically to rescue trapped passengers. The footage revealed a torn section of the bus, its wreckage bearing the full impact of the mud and rocks that had slammed into it.
