In the Season 4 finale of Emily in Paris, the title character decided to give love a chance in Italy. Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, shifted to Rome to set up the Italian office for Agence Grateau

Emily in Paris Season 5 teaser goes to Rome and Venice
On X (formerly Twitter), Netflix posted, "Hearts will Rome farther than ever before... Emily in Paris returns DECEMBER 18." The new teaser shows Emily and Marcello in the honeymoon phase of their romance. Emily's bestie Mindy (Ashley Park) comments, "Rome looks so good on you." And it does. With her love life and work life finally lining up, Emily is happier than ever. So what could go wrong?

Creator Darren Star teased to Tudum about the new season, "This season is a tale of two cities: Rome and Paris. Straddling both, Emily takes love and life to the next level."Collins added, "Marcello is a whole other adventure that we want for Emily, because we ultimately want Emily to be able to have a better work-life balance. We want to have Emily be able to smile without condition. We want to see her beyond her vacay mode. Not just Emily but the whole gang of Agence Grateau shows up in Rome. Boss Sylvie Grateau (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Julien (Samuel Arnold), and Luc (Bruno Gouery) also make the trip over from Paris. In the teaser, Julien asks, "If we are all here, who's in Paris?" Returning actors for Season 5 include William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount, Thalia Besson, Paul Forman, and Arnaud Binard as Laurent G. There will be new faces for Season 5 as Suits LA actor Bryan Greenberg is set to play Jake, an American living in Paris; Michèle Laroque will join as Yvette, an old friend of Sylvie, and Minnie Driver plays Princess Jane, another friend of Sylvie’s who married into a royal family.
