Financial Fraud At Suriya’s Home: How Domestic Help Conned Actor’s PSO For Rs 42 Lakh In Rs 2 Crore Scam
Tamil actor Suriya has got a big shock after his domestic help and her family duped his police security officer (PSO) for Rs 42 lakh in a Rs 2 crore scam case. According to a report, the cops found out
that officer Anthony George Prabhu ended up becoming a victim of a financial fraud in which he was cheated of Rs 42 lakh. It has to be noted that a big racket worth nearly Rs 2 crore, was run by the accused family.
Financial fraud at Suriya’s residence
According to an India Today report, the cops found out that Sulocahana, who worked as a domestic help at Suriya’s house, along with her son, enticed Prabhu to invest money by promising him high returns. In fact, the domestic help’s family even gave him 30 grams of gold in return for an initial payment of Rs 1 lakh. Impressed by their gesture, Prabhu decided to invest more money and ended up transferring Rs 42 lakh between January and February. In March, when Prabhu asked for his money, the family suddenly disappeared.

Arrest And Suriya’s Action
After discovering the fraud, the complaint was filed in July, and an FIR was registered against four family members. Balaji, Bhaskar, Sulochana and Vijayalakshmi have been arrested. All four accused have been sent into judicial custody. It has to be noted that four of them were working at Suriya’s house as domestic staff. Once he was informed about the fraud, the Jai Bhim actor immediately terminated their services. More information about the scam is still awaited.
