70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 With Gujarat Tourism: The prestigious Filmfare Awards was held on October 11 at Ahmedabad's EKA Arena. Shah Rukh Khan returned as host after 17 years, joined by Karan Johar and Maniesh Paul. Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ananya Panday, and Siddhant Chaturvedi performed at the grand event. The Filmfare Awards 2025 winners include Best Film for Laapataa Ladies and Best Director for Kiran Rao for the same film. Shoojit Sircar won Best Film Critics for I Want to Talk. Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) was shared by Abhishek Bachchan for I Want to Talk and Kartik Aaryan for Chandu Champion, while Rajkummar Rao won Best Actor Critics for Srikanth. Alia Bhatt won Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) for Jigra, and Pratibha Ranta won Best Actress Critics for Laapataa Ladies. Supporting awards went to Ravi Kishan (Male) and Chhaya Kadam (Female), both for Laapataa Ladies. Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to Zeenat Aman and Shyam Benegal. Best Debut Male went to Lakshya Lalwani for Kill, and Best Debut Female to Nitanshi Goel for Laapataa Ladies. Best Debut Directors were Kunal Kemmu for Madgaon Express and Aditya Suhas Jambhale for Article 370. Rafey Mehmood won Best Cinematography for Kill, and Aditya Dhar and Monal Thaakar won Best Story for Article 370. Sneha Desai won Best Screenplay and Best Dialogue for Laapataa Ladies. Best Costume went to Darshan Jalan for Laapataa Ladies, and Best Choreography to Bosco-Caesar for Tauba Tauba, from Bad Newz. Redefine won Best VFX for Munjya, Subash Sahoo won Best Sound Design for Kill, and Seayoung Oh and Parvez Shaikh won Best Action for Kill. Shivkumar V Panicker won Best Editing for Kill, Ritesh Shah and Tushar Sheetal Jain won Best Adapted Screenplay for I Want to Talk, and Mayur Sharma won Best Production Design for Kill.
