Witcher is indeed reborn as the fourth season premieres on October 30 with The Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth leading the franchise. Henry Cavill, who previously played Geralt, left the Netflix series after Season 3. The new season sets out to bring Geralt, Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra), and Princess Cirilla of Cintra (Freya Allan) together again. Check out the new trailer below!
The Witcher Season 4 trailer debuts new Geralt, Liam Hemsworth
On X (formerly Twitter), Netflix posted, "The Continent has shifted and Ciri's at the center of it. The Witcher returns OCTOBER 30." Besides the new Geralt, the trailer also shows fans their first look at barber-surgeon Regis, played by Laurence Fishburne. The main trio also undertakes a big journey, with Geralt getting ready for battle, Yennefer looking to harness uncharted power, and Ciri moving straight towards peril. The official synopsis states, "After the shocking Continent-altering events that close out season three, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other. In the fourth season, based on Andrzej Sapkowski's novels, Ciri goes undercover as “Falka” and joins the infamous group of vagabonds known as the Rats with their travels. The Netflix show features Ciri's fiercer, more violent side. Freya Allan, who plays the princess, told Tudum, "She sees that she can’t just lead with pure goodness, but she’s navigating the balance — at times the pain and the hunger for some kind of revenge goes too far down the dark path."Do you find this article useful?
