An Australian tourist has won hearts across the internet after stepping in to save a cow that had slipped into a dry drain in India. The traveller, Duncan McNaught, shared the incident on Instagram, uploading a video that showed the helpless animal stuck in the ditch.In the clip, McNaught can be heard saying reassuringly, “No, he just fell in. We’re gonna rescue. Let’s go. Oh, the sacred cow in India is stranded. It’s okay, buddy.”The recording shows him initially struggling to lift the cow out on his own. An on-screen text admits, “I wasn’t strong enough she was heavy 2 people should do the job.” Eventually, with assistance from another man, he succeeds in pulling the animal free.
