Hollywood icon Robert Redford died at the age of 89 on September 16. His publicist Cindi Berger said the actor died at his home "at Sundance in the mountains of Utah - the place he loved, surrounded by those he loved". He is one of the most influential film stars of his time and acclaimed for films including Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid, All The President’s Men and The Sting.Robert Redford made his directorial debut in 1980 with Ordinary People, which went on to win four Academy Awards.Robert Redford is also known for founding the Sundance Institute, known for the Sundance Film Festival, promoting independent films and filmmakers, as well as environmental activism. Several Hollywood celebrities have paid tribute to Redford today, describing him as a genius and a true Hollywood legend.Meanwhile, Venkatesh Daggubati was last seen in the hit film Sankranthiki Vasthunam written and directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations. It stars Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary, P Sai Kumar, VTV Ganesh, Sarvadaman D. Banerjee, Upendra Limaye and Srinivas Avasarala. The film grossed emerged as the highest grossing Telugu film of the year and fifth highest grossing Indian film of the year.
