of the year with enthusiasm. Anupamaa actor Shivam Khajuria recently had an exclusive conversation with Zoom/Telly Talk India, where he opened up about his Diwali plans and recalled an unforgettable experience while celebrating the festival during his childhood.

During a candid conversation with us, we asked Shivam Khajuria about his Diwali plans for this year. He said, “With love, family, friends, and of course, lots of sweets! Diwali for me is all about spreading joy, gratitude, and light. The get-togethers, laughter, and celebrations with loved ones always become memories to treasure.” While sharing the fondest memory of Diwali, Shivam Khajuria stated, “Bursting firecrackers with all the kids in my neighbourhood and then coming home to a spread of delicious sweets — motichoor laddoo being my absolute favourite! When asked about his unforgettable experience during Diwali, the Anupamaa actor said that the dogs had chased him when he burst the crackers. Shivam Khajuria revealed, “Every Diwali is special in its own way, but one I’ll never forget was when I burst a firecracker as a kid and a group of street dogs started chasing me! I was terrified, but it made me realise how scared animals get because of the noise. Since then, I’ve been more mindful and responsible about bursting crackers so that no stray animals are harmed or frightened.” Shivam Khajuria has also pledged to celebrate Diwali in eco-friendly style. The handsome hunk said, “I used to love crackers—and honestly, I still enjoy them—but now I prefer keeping it simple and more eco-friendly. I think we can all celebrate the festival with light and joy without causing too much pollution or distress to animals.” Talking about Shivam, he is paired opposite Adrija Roy in Rupali Ganguly’s show, Anupamaa.
