Akshay Kumar Takes Playful Dig At Kapil Sharma Cafe Firing Incident: Itni Aamdani Hai Ki Goliyan Chali

Sharma turned restaurateur with the inauguration of Kap’s Cafe in Canada earlier this year. While the café gained popularity instantly, it also made headlines for firing incidents. Akshay Kumar, in the latest episode of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show season 3, took a hilarious jibe at the host.

In the episode, Akshay promoted his recently released film, Jolly LLB 3. He said, “Teen season Netflix pe kar chuka hai yeh. Uss pehle Sony pe tha, usse pehle Colors pe. Abhi do filmein kar raha hai. Isne apna restaurant khol liya aur itni aamdani hai ke waha goliyan bhi chali (laughs).”(Translation: He has already done three seasons on Netflix. Before that, it was on Sony, and before that, it was on Colors. He’s currently doing two films. He opened his own restaurant and is earning so much money that shots were fired there.)

Attack on Kapil's cafe

Kapil’s café was attacked for the first time in July. Service resumed soon and no casualties were reported. In August, at least 25 bullets were fired at Kap’s cafe, causing significant damage to the property. A member of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claimed responsibility. According to the gang member, the attack on Kapil’s cafe was due to his association with Salman Khan, who opened the third season as the guest. This was supposedly the reason behind the violent targeting of the café. The Mumbai police provided security to the actor-comedian. The person named Harry Boxer said in a threatening audio, “The first and now second firing at Kapil Sharma’s restaurant happened because he had invited Salman Khan to the inauguration on a Netflix show.”During both attacks, Kapil wasn’t in Canada. Besides damage to the property, no injuries and casualties were reported.
