During a recent exclusive interview with Zoom, the actress opened up about her experience of working with Prabhas on The Raja Saab. Helmed by Maruthi, the romantic horror comedy has been set for a big-screen release on January 9, 2026.
Riddhi Kumar says Prabhas is 'sweet, understanding'
Speaking exclusively to us, Riddhi said, "Well, yes, The Raja Saab is something I am extremely excited about. The experience has been incredible and, honestly, quite luxurious. The set is as grand as the name itself."The actress further reflected on working with Prabhas for the second time. "The first was Radhe Shyam, where I had a guest appearance, and this time I am working opposite him. In my experience, he is exactly the same, an absolute darling to work with. Before The Raja Saab releases, Riddhi's Marathi film. Kadhipatta, will arrive in cinemas on November 7, 2025. In this film, the actress plays the role of a young girl Meera, who has married her college sweetheart. Sharing more insights about her character and the film, she added, "Meera is expressive, opinionated, and very much a woman of today. Without revealing too much, the film begins with a divorce that stems from a situation she finds herself in, and from there, her emotional journey unfolds. At first, Meera stands firmly by her opinions, which, in hindsight, are quite one-sided."Moving on, Riddhi revealed how her character undergoes transformation in the film itself. "But as the story progresses, she begins to understand people and situations from a broader perspective.
