According to My Drama List, the series is set to have 16 episodes. Five Enough's Jung Hyun Jung is writing the series while Crash Landing on You's Lee Jeong Hyo will direct. The synopsis from the site reveals the plot of Long Vacation. It states, "A warm and romantic story about Devil No. 3375, who comes to a seaside village in the south of Korea on a reward vacation. There, he meets a human woman named Lee Deul Pan, falls in love, and discovers the beautiful emotions within himself. Through the journey of realizing his true identity, he faces his dark and painful past and begins to heal."

Filming and cast info
According to What's on Netflix, Head Over Heels star Choo Young Woo has been offered the leading role. So far, he is the only actor attached to the series. Back in March 2025, his agency was reviewing the offer. Choo Young Woo is known for his roles in two popular Netflix K-dramas Mercy for None as Lee Geum Son and The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call as Yang Jae Won. The latter is reportedly returning for Seasons 2 and 3 and will film in 2026 too so it's not clear whether the actor would have time to do both.
