Boss 19 has barely wrapped up a few eliminations and already controversies from inside the house are spilling into the outside world. In an exclusive interview with Telly Talk India/Zoom after his exit, social media star and choreographer Awez Darbar has opened up about his turbulent relationship with music composer Amaal Mallik on the show, calling him “dogla” (two-faced) and revealing shocking details of their personal and professional exchanges.

Awez calls Amaal 'dogla'

Awez recalled how Salman Khan himself had reprimanded Amaal during the show, which gave him a sense of satisfaction. “Amaal ko to unhone (Salman Khan) bahut daanta tha and hum log ko aaj thoda accha bhi laga, kyunki mujhe pata hi nahi tha ki Amaal itna bada dogla hai actual mein hai. Mere samne wo itna dosti yaari karta tha aur peeche ye jo baat karta hai yeh mujhe pata nahi tha.” (Salman Khan scolded Amaal a lot, and we actually felt good about it because I never knew Amaal was such a big hypocrite. In front of me, he pretended to be a friend, but behind my back, he spoke things I wasn’t aware of.)The digital creator further thanked the singer in a rather sarcastic tone for disclosing his professional fees publicly. “Thank you bolna chaahunga bas wo cheez ke liye ki bhai thank you so much aapne mera rate disclose kar diya hai. Ab jo mere saath kaam karna chahta hai contact me. Aapko pata hai aapke saath to kaam nahi kar raha hoon ye pakka hai.” (I want to thank him only for one thing, for disclosing my rate publicly. Now, whoever wants to work with me can contact me directly. But it’s confirmed that I’m never working with you again.)

Did Amaal DM Awez to work with him?

In a major revelation, Awez also alleged that Amaal himself had reached out to him for collaborations via direct messages. “Uska DM mere paas pada hua hai. Sabse pehle usne message kiya hai. Bhai apan bhi saath mein aisa video banate hain na, sab pada hai mere ko. Aapko main dikha bhi dunga. Saari cheezen usne baat karne ki koshish ki hai. Maine sirf bola hai: Are thank you bhai. Are thank you bhai.” (I still have his DMs. He was the first to message me, suggesting we should make a video together. I can even show you everything. He kept trying to start a conversation, and I only replied politely with ‘Thank you, brother.’)Going further, Awez revealed how personal things were dragged into the matter. “Usne meri family ke baare mein bola hai. Usne mere kaam ke baare mein bola hai. Har cheez bola hai. Ab main aapko dikha bhi dunga. Aap dekhna uske andar maine kahan kaam maanga hai.” (He spoke about my family, he spoke about my work, he spoke about everything. I can show you all of it, and you’ll see I never asked him for work.)

Awez's message to Amaal's family

He also sent out a message to Dabboo Malik, Amaal’s father, clarifying that he didn’t want him to apologise. “Main bolunga Dabbu uncle aap please sorry mat bolo. Mujhe bahut bura laga aap sorry bol rahe the. It’s between me and him. Hum bade ho gaye, hum sort kar lenge. Aap tension mat lo. I will not go to his level.” (I would just say to Dabboo uncle, please don’t apologise. I felt very bad when you did. This is between me and him. We are grown-ups, we’ll sort it out.
