Randeep Hooda took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle and expressed, "Saddened to hear about the passing of #PankajDheer ji. A powerful performer and a dignified presence on and off screen. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Om Shanti."
Anupam Kher, on his X account, wrote, "Deeply saddened to know about my friend and fellow actor in many movies #PankajDheerDeath. He was a very jovial and a helpful person. May God rest his soul in peace and give his family and friends the strength to deal with this loss. Om Shanti!"
Actor Feroz Khan, on his official Instagram handle, confirmed the demise of his 'very good friend' in a video post saying, "With a very heavy heart, I have to say that my very good friend, Pankaj Dheer, has left for his heavenly abode. He was a gentleman in every way, and the most beautiful thing was that he always saw to it that whoever was around him just kept smiling and laughing. Will Miss you PD, I will miss you immensely because a genuine soul like you is very rare to be seen. I salute you for all your cooperation and the work we have done together, played cricket together right from the school days till we halted in Mahabharata. Love you PD and I will always and always miss you. Rest in peace my friend. Bye. "
