Shetty's ambitious mythological film Kantara Chapter 1 has released in theatres across the globe amid much fanfare. Since it hit screens, fans have been heaping praise on the film, calling it a divine experience. Now, Telugu film star Jr NTR has shared his views on it.

Jr NTR Raves About Rishab Shetty's Kantara Chapter 1

On his X account, Jr NTR, praised the film, while declaring it a blockbuster. He also heaped postive reviews on Rishab Shetty's performance stating he pulled off the unthinkable. The tweet read "Congratulations to the team of #KantaraChapter1 on scoring a resounding success.@shetty_rishab sir pulled off the unthinkable by excelling both as a mindblowing actor and a brilliant director. My best wishes to the entire cast and crew, along with @hombalefilms, for fearlessly backing Rishab sir’s vision."

At the film's pre-release event, Jr NTR spoke about Rishab Shetty's efforts to make the project, "I got the opportunity to see firsthand how hard he worked to make Kantara Chapter 1. It is not easy to make Kantara Chapter 1. You must have seen it on social media. He took me to a temple near his hometown, where you have to wade through water to reach it. There's no path to go to the temple there, they made one because they put up a set up there to shoot. It's humanly impossible. If it was not for Rishabh sir, if it was not for the team that he believed it, I really don't think anything would've been possible for Kantara Chapter 1.”

Ticket Hike For Kantara Chapter 1

Ahead of the film's release, the Andhra Pradesh government has taken inclusive step by approving the hike in ticket prices for the Kannada film Kantara Chapter -1, directed and acted by Rishab Shetty.

As per the order, ticket prices in single screens are increased by Rs. 75 plus GST, while the hike is Rs. 100 plus GST in multiplexes. The revised fares are Rs. 236 in single screens and Rs. 295. The enhanced rates are also applicable for tomorrow’s premiere shows and will be in effect till October 11.Kantara: Chapter 1 written and directed by Rishab Shetty, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under Hombale Films. A prequel to the 2022 film Kantara, the story delves deeper into the origins of the tradition and ancestral conflict introduced in the first film.
