In an interview with NDTV, the senior filmmaker revealed it was Vikram Bhatt's idea to make a love story. And when they thought of the film's music, Bhatt was reminded of Anu Malik as the earlier worked on Phir Teri Kahaani Yaad Aayi. "I felt that he had gone through the winter of his life.
