Pradesh too, India Meteorological Department (IMD) scientist Naresh Kumar said.In the next two to three days, the monsoon will withdraw from almost all the regions across North India, the IMD scientist told PTI.
The southwest monsoon that arrived in Himachal Pradesh on June 20 has withdrawn entirely from eight out of 12 districts, the local meteorological centre said on Wednesday."The southwest monsoon has withdrawn from Chamba, Kangra, Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Solan, Sirmaur, and Mandi districts, most parts of Kullu and Shimla districts, and some parts of Lahaul-Spiti district today," the Met office said.

Favourable weather conditions in next 2-3 days
In the next two to three days, the conditions are favourable for its further withdrawal from the remaining parts of the state, it stated.While North India has recorded over 740 mm of rainfall since June 1, which has broken records as it was the highest in 37 years and the third highest since 1950.North India witnessed 42.2 per cent excess rain in June, mainly due to heavy pre-monsoon showers. While in July, it remained 13.2 per cent and 34.4 per cent in August, but later 62.3 per cent till September 19.During this monsoon, public infrastructure was heavily hit, with 394 roads, including two national highways, blocked as of September 20.Moreover, the region also faced power outages across several districts, with 174 water supply schemes non-functional.
