The film Kantara Chapter 1 is about the Kadamba dynasty era in pre-colonial coastal Karnataka. The film tells the story of Bhuta Kola ritual, spirituality, and regional folklore. In the movie, Rishab Shetty is seen as Berme, a tribal warrior raised by the Kantara tribe who worship nature and guardian spirits Panjurli and Guliga. The movie includes Gulshan Devaiah as Prince Kulashekara, Rukmini Vasanth portrays Princess Kanakavathi, Kulashekara's sister and Berme's love interest.Do you find this article useful?
