Min Hee-Jin in trouble - again!
According to reports, the court confirmed that Min’s behaviour toward the former ADOR staff member constituted workplace harassment under South Korean labour law. The ruling came after a detailed review of evidence, which included accounts of Min’s verbal abuse, dismissive conduct, and the resulting psychological distress experienced by the employee. The case dates back to 2024, when ‘A’ first lodged a complaint with the Seoul Labour Office. The employee claimed to have suffered emotional and mental strain due to Min Hee-Jin’s harsh treatment and hostile work environment. Following its investigation, the Labour Office determined that Min’s behavior had indeed “caused mental distress” to ‘A’, and in March 2025, imposed a monetary fine as a disciplinary measure.
What was Min Hee-Jin's side?
Min Hee-Jin’s legal representatives, however, disputed the ruling and appealed to a higher court, arguing that her actions had been misinterpreted and that the decision was unfair. Despite these claims, the Seoul Western District Court has now upheld the Labour Office’s findings, confirming that the fine was both justified and legally valid. This verdict adds another layer to Min Hee-Jin’s mounting legal troubles. She is already entangled in an ongoing feud with HYBE Labels, the parent company of ADOR, over accusations of internal misconduct, creative control disputes, and alleged plagiarism involving content and concepts linked to NewJeans and other HYBE groups under subsidiaries Source Music and BeLift Lab.
