According to Hindustan Times, Rashmika and Vijay are engaged and are set to tie the knot in February 2026. Rashmika rose to pan-India fame with the Telugu action blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise (2021). She later appeared in a supporting role in the period drama Sita Ramam (2022) and played the lead in the Tamil film Varisu (2023). Her biggest hits include the action dramas Animal (2023) and Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024), as well as the historical action movie Chhaava (2025).Next, Rashmika will star in Thamma, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films. The film, written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara, also features Ayushmann Khurrana and is scheduled for a Diwali 2025 release.
