What is the story about?

The
Indian Railways is all set to bring an option for its users to change the travel date on their confirmed tickets without paying any cancellation fee. In case of rescheduling their trips, passengers will be required to pay the difference in price if there is any. The move will make train travel more flexible and affordable, especially when plans change at the last minute.
Why Is This A Big Deal?
As of now, there is no provision to get a refund if you miss your train. In fact, the Indian Railway charges you up to 25% of your ticket cost if you cancel your ticket, depending on the class and timing. With the new policy:- You do not need to cancel your ticket.
- You can simply reschedule your journey online.
- As long as seats are available, you can book a new train.
- You only pay the fare difference, if any — no penalty.
