Arjit Taneja took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Had a bad sinus attack while traveling from BOM-Delhi on AI 2677 today (18/10). The crew was very caring and helpful. Don’t know the names of the air hostesses but just wanted to acknowledge their hard work and effort. Thank you.”

According to the producers, his departure was by mutual understanding. He was replaced by actor Rajvir Singh as the new male lead to ensure continuity of the storyline.
