During a candid chat with us, Mouni shared that she hasn't watched Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2's new episodes. However, she admitted that the KSBKBT is close to her heart because it is her 'first show'.Recalling her first meeting with Ektaa, the actress told Zoom, "I'm very thankful to Ektaa ma'am. And talking about memories, I think it has to be in the office where I met Ektaa ma'am for the first time. She literally treated me like a kid which I was then." "And Smriti di used to pamper me with books and chocolates, which I don't eat, but like books and food. She's fluent in Bangla. She's the one person who used to talk to me in Bengali. It was very comforting. 18 years later, all of us are friends and practically family," she shared.

Mouni Roy's upcoming movies

Meanwhile, Mouni is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming movie, Mahayoddha Rama. She has voiced the character of Goddess Sita in the film, which is set to be released on October 17, 2025. Apart from that, Mouni will be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar's The Wives.Besides these films, the actress will be seen doing a comedy film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai with Varun Dhawan.
