Putin Hails PM Modi For India's Success Story: 'Highest Economic Growth Rate, Sovereign Policy'

Russian President Vladimir Putin praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and India’s rapid economic rise during a recent telephone conversation between the two leaders. Putin also praised PM Modi for charting an independent course for India, free from external influence, while driving record economic growth. The Russian leader disclosed details of the exchange during a meeting with members of the Russian Government, according to the officialwebsite of the Kremlin.“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India is pursuing a completely independent, sovereign policy and, most importantly, is achieving very good results in the economic sphere.
