• October 2 (Thursday): Gandhi Jayanti will be observed nationwide, leading to a complete banking holiday across India. The day also coincides with Dasara, Vijaya Dashami, and Janmotsav of Sri Sri Sankardeva.
• October 3 & 4: In Sikkim, banks will remain shut for extended Durga Puja (Dasain) celebrations.
