Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has created streaming history by becoming the number 1 non-English film worldwide on Netflix. Within just five days of its release, the film has topped the global charts, surpassing some of the platform’s biggest international titles. And Aneet-Ahaan are expressing their gratitude to the fans in the sweetest way.

Saiyaara trends number 1 on global charts

According to Tudum, Netflix’s official databank of best-performing content, Saiyaara is currently trending at the top spot in the non-English films category with an impressive 3.7 million views and 9.3 million hours viewed. The film has outperformed German erotic thriller Fall For Me, which secured the second position with 6.5 million hours viewed, and Netflix’s Hindi original Inspector Zende, starring Manoj Bajpayee, which came third with 6.2 million hours viewed. Another Indian film, Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, also features in the top 10, taking the ninth spot with 2.5 million hours viewed.
