The threat to Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s family is far from over. Investigators believe that at least two shooters from the Rohit Godara–Goldy Brar gang may have escaped to Mumbai after a failed attempt to attack the actress's residence in Bareilly. While two shooters, Ravindra and Arun, were killed in an encounter by the UP STF in Ghaziabad, their associates Nakul and Vijay remain absconding. Sources indicate that more than four shooters were tasked with the operation, raising fresh security concerns.Gangster Rohit Godara has also released another chilling poster, warning: "No matter how powerful someone may be, we can do what no one can even imagine." Following the fresh threat, police have tightened security around Disha Patani's family.
Heavy deployment has been made outside their Bareilly home, with an iron gate installed at the colony entrance and CCTV surveillance upgraded. As per the investigators, the four shooters reached Bareilly on the night of September 10. The most notorious among them, Ravindra, stayed at Hotel Preet, Room No. 9, just 200 meters from the Kotwali police station and SP City office. He used his original ID card to get admission into the hotel, sources said.According to hotel staff, Ravindra did not leave his room, and survived on bananas and bottled water. Meanwhile, Nakul, Vijay, and Arun checked into Hotel Hind near Bareilly Junction. They too used their original IDs to book Room No. 111, sources said.On September 11, Nakul and Vijay fired warning shots 200 meters away from Disha Patani's residence. The following night, Ravindra and Arun fired nine rounds from an automatic pistol directly outside her house.Shockingly, hotel staff mistook the shooters for students because of their casual behavior and genuine IDs. After the attack, the shooters moved freely around Bareilly, with their movements caught on the city’s Integrated Control Command Centre (I-CCC) cameras. Later, in Rampur, they used fake IDs under the names Ramniwas and Sagar to book another hotel.Inputs about the gangs movements have been shared with central agencies as the manhunt for Nakul and Vijay intensifies.
