According to industry tracker Sacnilk, War 2 earned Rs 236.55 crore in India across Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. It fell well short of expectations, leaving the trade disappointed. The film received mixed reviews from critics and audiences, and it remains to be seen whether it will find a new lease of life on OTT.Recently, Hrithik took to Instagram to share his experience of making War 2 with Ayan. He wrote, "Playing kabir was so much fun. So relaxed, knew him so well. It was going to be easy. Finally a movie I could do like so many others do, keep it simple, play the actor, do your job and come home. And it was exactly that. I was taken care of so well by my director Ayan. It was such a pleasure to have his energy on set."War 2 is the sixth YRF Universe film after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3.
