
Filmfare held a press conference on October 03, 2025, in Mumbai to announce the technical and writing winners of the 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 with Gujarat Tourism, a landmark edition that celebrates
and honours remarkable talent and excellence in Hindi cinema.The conference was graced by Mr. Rajkummar Rao; Ms. Tamannaah Bhatia; Shri Rajender Kumar(IAS), Tourism Secretary, Government of Gujarat; Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited; Mr. Rohit Gopakumar, Director of Worldwide Media and CEO of ZENL, BCCL TV & Digital Network and Mr. Jitesh Pillai, Editor-in-Chief, Filmfare. The afternoon commenced with a symbolic lamp-lighting ceremony.
The winners of the Technical and Writing Award categories for the 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 with Gujarat Tourism were also announced, with Bosco-Caesar winning Best Choreography for Tauba Tauba from Bad Newz, Best VFX was awarded to ReDefine for Munjya, Ram Sampath was awarded Best Background Score for Laapataa Ladies, Rafey Mehmood bagging Best Cinematography for Kill, and Mayur Sharma taking home Best Production Design for Kill. Darshan Jalan won Best Costume for Laapataa Ladies, while Subash Sahoo won Best Sound Design, Shivkumar V. Panicker won Best Editing, both for Kill. Best Action went to Seayoung Oh and Parvez Shaikh for Kill. In the writing categories, Aditya Dhar and Monal Thaakar won Best Story for Article 370, Sneha Desai bagged both Best Screenplay and Best Dialogue for Laapataa Ladies, and Ritesh Shah won Best Adapted Screenplay for I Want To Talk.On 11th October, in Ahmedabad, Filmfare Awards will be hosted by the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, alongside filmmaker and showman Karan Johar and the charismatic Maniesh Paul.
