‘Saven Thursday Six Harendra Sixty’: Wrongly-Spelt Cheque By Govt School Principal In Himachal Sparks Debate
What happens when a school principal writes a cheque for Rs 7,616? It bounces! Not because the principal’s account was empty or because there was some technical error or such. Believe it or not- it’s because of
wrong selling- in fact- a number of wrong sellings! A wrongly-spelt cheque is doing rounds on the internet- leaving netizens stunned over the very spellings that were supposedly written by a government school principal in Himachal Pradesh. The cheque that was supposed to read ‘Seven thousand six hundred sixteen’, instead ended up reading ‘Sevan thursday six harendra sixty’. As per multiple reports, the principal was signing the cheque to a mid-day worker. It was in the name of ‘Atter Singh’ and was dated ‘September 25’. Naturally, the cheque bounced after it could not go through due to multiple mistakes. However, it was not exactly clear if it was the senior secondary school principal who wrote the cheque. Netizens, regardless, raised concerns over the entire matter and the principal’s qualifications. Times Now could not confirm the authenticity of the post.
