Kajol, who reunited with her Bengali actor Rituparna Sengupta at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai. Photos and videos of their interaction and them engaging in sindoor khela are going viral on social media.
Kajol, Rituparna Sengupta celebrate Sindoor Khela
In one of the viral clips posted by Bollywood paparazzo on Instagram, Kajol was seen applying sindoor (vermillion) on Rituparna as part of the traditional sindoor khela ritual, with Rituparna returning the gesture. The two then smiled warmly and posed for the paparazzi. For the festivities, Kajol donned a traditional red and white saree, while Rituparna looked radiant in a yellow and red saree.
Earlier in the day, Kajol was seen performing Vijayadashami rituals with her daughter Nysa Devgn, who wore a saffron suit for the occasion. Kajol also spent time at the pandal with her sister, Tanishaa Mukerji, dressed in a red saree. The sisters shared a warm moment, with Kajol hugging Tanishaa and Tanishaa seen touching Kajol’s feet in a gesture of respect.
Kajol, a regular at the Durga Puja celebrations, has been actively participating in the rituals throughout the festival week.
