Rajkumar's Andontittu Kaala, which was in the making for a few years, finally released in theatres on August 29. Upon release, the film opened to lukewarm reception from audience. Now, the Keerthi Krishnappa's directorial is set to release on OTT.

As per reports, the film is set to stream online from October 17 on Sun NXT. In a press meet, Vinay said the film is among the most significant ones in his career. “This film is extremely close to me. Andondittu Kaala reflects the real-life experiences of Keerthi’s journey in cinema. My role has three shades, and it’s been a three-year effort to bring it alive. Sharing screen space again with Aruna Balraj, who plays my mother, makes it all the more special,” he said.

Andondittu Kaala is backed by Bhuvan Suresh's Bhuvan Movies banner. The film also stars Aditi Prabhudeva, Jagappa, Aruna Balaraj, and features a cameo by Ravichandran. The cinematography is by Abhishek Kasargod, editing is by Keerthi.Vinay Rajkumar was also seen in Pepe. Written and directed by Shreelesh S. Nair in his directorial debut. The film also featured Mayur Patel, Naveen D. Padil, Yash Shetty, Kaajal Kunder, Medini Kelamane, Raviprasad Mandya, Kitty Sridhar, Shashidhar Bhat, Bala Rajwadi, Aruna Balraj, Sandya Arekere, and Shivu Kabbanahalli.
