Kim Soo Hyun will officially appear in front of 22nd Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court on November 21, after the cosmetics brand terminated his modelling contract amid personal life controversies involving the late actress Kim Sae Ron. The 500 million KRW (about 350,000 US dollars) was filed against the actor and his agency in April 2025. The contract, which was earlier supposed to end in August 2025, got terminated in March when the cosmetic brand announced the discontinuation through their social media handle. The official statement by the company read, "We found it difficult to take immediate action regarding the contract termination without first hearing the statements of Kim Soo Hyun and his agency. After reviewing the agency’s position, we judged that there were serious reasons preventing the fulfillment of the advertising contract, and we have officially initiated the termination process through our legal representatives. This decision reflects our commitment to uphold the values of the brand and the trust of our consumers.”ALSO READ: Blackpink's Jisoo Makes Solo Debut On Billboard Hot 100 With Eyes Closed Ft.
