As Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of the late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, prepares for her much-anticipated acting debut in a film tentatively titled Dadi Ki Shaadi (DKS), co-starring her mother Neetu and comedian Kapil Sharma, it’s her young daughter, Samara Sahni, who has unexpectedly become the centre of attention thanks to an unplanned and charming appearance on YouTube.

In the latest episode of Farah Khan’s popular vlog, the Om Shanti Om director and her cook, Dilip, paid a visit to Riddhima’s home in Delhi to shoot a fun cooking segment. After whipping up beetroot tikkis, Farah introduced viewers to little Samara, warmly calling her “the star of the family.” What followed was a delightful surprise.Samara exuded confidence as she strutted out of her room and straight toward the camera like a natural-born performer. She greeted Farah with ease, spoke glowingly of her favourite Male actors from the Kapoor clan. She named Ranbir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. And then, like a true industry insider, she asked if she could take a look at the monitor to check her shot. Riddhima watched the whole thing unfold with a mix of amusement and disbelief, while Farah exclaimed, “Oh my god, this girl is going to be a heroine. She’s checking the monitor already!”

Upon reviewing her footage, she pointed out that her hair looked wet and casually suggested they reshoot the segment, a request that Farah found hilarious. “Samara, I can officially say I’ve launched you! After Rakhi Sawant, Malaika Arora, Deepika Padukone, and Dilip, now it’s Miss Samara,” she declared. When Farah jokingly asked if she’d go by Kapoor or Sahni in the industry, the young girl confidently replied, “Sahni.”

The candid, behind-the-scenes footage quickly went viral, with social media users flooding the comments with admiration for Samara’s spontaneity, wit, and star presence. “She’s a perfect mix of her Naani and Maamajee,” wrote one fan, while another commented, “She’s so authentic and full of life, hope she never loses that spark.” Many described the moment as “heartwarming” and “a star-is-born” type of debut.
