  This market once again appears to be on uncertain terrain. The Nifty is swinging from red to green and back to red, in the range of around 50 points. The index is down about 40 points. This comes after what turned out to be a disappointing session for the bulls yesterday.

When it comes to Nifty, 26,000 will be the first level on the upside to watch for the Nifty, followed by Thursday's high of 26,100.

The Sensex index is also in the red, trading down around 150 points, falling below 84,400.

Earnings reactions are coming in from Colgate-Palmolive and HUL, both of which are down over 4%.

When it comes to the results that are expected to be announced today, some fo the biggest names include Dr. Reddy's, SBI Cards, Coforge, Latent View, ABSL AMC, and are some of the stocks reporting results. IT stocks continue to surge, and they may continue to lend support to the index as some headwinds abate.
