The Nifty 50 has been in pause mode since the start of the week. 25,150 is turning out to be an important level for the index. The previous two sessions before Tuesday saw the Nifty defend that level and see some rebound, but that was not to be on Tuesday.

Persistent shares have surged after the company announced its results in the previous session.

Tech Mahindra will also be reacting to its results that were reported after market hours. Earnings reactions also come from Thyrocare, Cyient DLM, among others. The Nifty Bank will also be in focus as Axis Bank becomes the first major lender to report results today after market hours.

Results also come from three HDFC Group companies, HDB Financial, HDFC AMC and HDFC Life Insurance. IRFC, KEI Industries, Oberoi Realty, L&T Finance, MRPL, Delta Corp, Angel One are some of the other broader market names reporting results today.
