Gold prices at all-time high: Factors driving the rally
Gold prices climbed to an all-time high in India on Monday (September 29), tracking a global surge and pressure from a weakening rupee. Domestic gold futures rose 0.74% to ₹1.14 lakh per 10 grams
in early trade, marking their highest level to date.
The rally coincided with international spot prices crossing $3,800 an ounce for the first time.
Silver prices hit ₹1.43 lakh per kg for the first time in India
Silver futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) surged to an all-time high on Monday (September 29). It climbed over 1.3% to ₹1.43 lakh per kg in early trade. The rally closelytracked gains in global markets, where spot silver rose 1% to $46.47 per ounce.
A weakening rupee further amplified domestic prices.

Asia Cup champions India on Sunday refused to accept the winners' trophy from ACC chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who also happens to be Pakistan's interior minister and chairman of the country's cricket board.
As Naqvi stood on one side for the presentation ceremony to begin, Indian players were standing within 15 yards, refusing to budge from their places and the formalities were being inordinately delayed.

Integrated logistics solutions provider Glottis Ltd.'s ₹307 crore IPO has opened for subscription today. The company has fixed the price band for the three-day issue between ₹120 - ₹129 per share.
The issue comprises of a fresh issue of shares worth ₹160 crore and an OFS component worth ₹147 crore. The company's shares carry a face value of ₹2 per share.
At the upper end of the price band, the implied market capitalisation of the issue is ₹3,073 crore.

Shares of Atlanta Electricals Ltd. made stock market debut on Monday, September 29, at a premium to its issue price. The company's IPO,valued at nearly ₹700 crore, had received healthy subscription from investors.
