Q2 Business Updates Live: Its the start of a brand new quarter and companies will now start to make a beeline for reporting how the previous quarter turned out for them. All eyes will be on auto companies as they come out with their sales figures for the month of September. These auto sales figures are more significant as they come after the new GST rates took effect, which cut prices of cars by over ₹2 lakh. Companies from Maruti Suzuki, to Tata Motors to Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, Hyundai India, among others will be reporting their sales figures. These stocks had run up between 15% to 20% in the last one month, after the reforms were announced. Also keep an eye on banking stocks for their respective quarterly updates, and PSU names such as Coal India, NMDC, IREDA and HUDCO, of which, the latter two have already disclosed their business update and will be reacting to it in today's session.
