One excited fan commented on X, “That's fantastic news! Mohanlal in a warrior role for Vrushabha sounds incredibly exciting. The poster looks epic!”
“Mohanlal looks absolutely fierce The intensity in that look says it all. November 6th is going to be epic,” another comment read.
Vrusshabha, a multilingual epic shot in Malayalam and Telugu and slated for dubbed versions in Hindi, Kannada, and English, was directed by Kannada filmmaker Nanda Kishore.
Mohanlal plays a double role in the movie, one of a famous monarch entangled in a war and betrayed. Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, Siddique, Nayan Sarika, and Neha Saxena all play supporting parts.
Following the excitement created by the first-look poster, the film's creators recently released the teaser, which features Mohanlal in a dominant avatar and offers an epic story full of action and myth.
Mohanlal appears to be returning to the historical genre with Vrusshabha, which is an action-packed, emotionally complex story. The movie is reported to have epic fight scenes and a plot that is based on the emotional dynamics of a multigenerational father-son bond.
Under the auspices of Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms, in collaboration with Abishek S Vyas Studios, Vrusshabha was written and directed by Nanda Kishore. It is co-produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, CK Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abishek S Vyas, Praveer Singh, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta.
Mohanlal's most recent appearance was in Hridayapoorvam, directed by Sathyan Anthikad, alongside Malavika Mohanan, Sangita Madhavan Nair, Sangeeth Prathap, Siddique, Sabitha Anand, Baburaj, Nishan, and Lalu Alex.
