While trading activities are suspended during routine trading hours from 9 am to 3.30 pm on Tuesday on account of the Diwali holiday, the markets will remain open for an hour on account of Diwali.
Mahurat Trading is a traditional practice among Indian investors. Diwali marks the beginning of the new Samvat. Stock market investors often wait for the special trading session, as it is believed that participating in Mahurat Trading brings good luck and prosperity.
