The stock is up 53% so far in 2025, having gained a similar quantum in 2024 as well. Since the start of 2020, the stock has delivered positive annual returns every year, including a near 10x jump in 2021.
Jindal Poly Investment & Finance
Shares of Jindal Poly Investment and Finance are trading with gains of over 15%, extending their gains for the second day in a row. The stock had risen 3.5% on Wednesday as well.
The stock had snapped a four-day losing streak on Wednesday.
Nearly 5 lakh shares of the company have changed hands so far during the trading session, well above the 20-day average of 3,000 shares.
The two-day upmove led to the stock turning positive on a year-to-date basis. The stock had gained 42% in 2024 and has delivered positive annual returns every year since 2020.
Jindal Poly Films
Shares of Jindal Poly Films snapped a three-day losing streak on Thursday, gaining as much as 15.5%. Before today's surge, the stock had gained only twice in the last 12 trading sessions.
Volumes on Jindal Poly are also significantly higher, with over 33 lakh shares changing hands so far, compared to the 20-day average of 29,000 shares.
With today's move, the stock has broken above its 100-Day Moving Average at ₹592. The 200-DMA level on the upside is now at ₹674.
Despite this move, the stock is still down 33% so far in 2025, and has had negative annual returns in three out of the last four years.
Jindal Worldwide
The stock has also snapped a three-day losing streak today, by gaining as much as 14.5%.
Similar to Jindal Poly, the stock had gained only twice in the last 12 sessions before today's move.
The stock has surged on very high volumes, with more than 1.9 crore shares already having changed hands, compared to the 20-day average of 4 lakh shares.
Despite this move, the stock is still down 51% so far in 2025.
