What is the story about?
Atlantaa Limited (formerly Altanta Limited) on Tuesday (September 30) said it has entered into an agreement with IRCON International Limited for the construction of the Bhandara–Gadchiroli Access Controlled Expressway in Maharashtra.
The project, under the EPC mode, covers Package BG-03 from km 34+750 Sarandi Bk, taluk Lakhandur, Bhandara district, to km 69+536 Kinhi, Bramhapuri taluk, Chandrapur district, spanning a total length of 34.786 km.

The sub-contract is valued at ₹2,485 crore plus applicable GST. The agreement was signed in anticipation of the award of the project by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) to IRCON, which was declared L-1 for the tendered package after following all legal and tender procedures.
Atlantaa stated that further disclosures will be made once the project is officially awarded to IRCON by MSRDC. Shares of Atlantaa Ltd ended at ₹38.87, up by ₹0.39, or 1.01% and shares of Ircon International Ltd ended at ₹171.55, up by ₹2.05, or 1.21%, on the BSE.
