SML Isuzu Ltd. said on Wednesday (October 1) that its total sales fell 10% year-on-year to 950 units for the month of September 2025, compared to 1,055 it reported during the same period last year.
However,
the overall sales figure marks a slight increase from 815 units sold in the previous month.
Sales of both cargo and passenger vehicles has declined for the month. SML sold 370 cargo vehicles against 407 units sold in the same month last year, while the sale of passenger vehicle dropped to 580 units from 648 units sold in September 2024.
With this, the company's total sales from April through September for the current financial year stands at 8,145 units, marking a growth of 7% from the same period last year when it reported sales of 7,627 units.
For the June quarter, SML Isuzu posted a net profit of ₹67 crore, up 44% year-on-year, with revenue rising 13% to ₹846 crore. EBITDA improved 15% to ₹105 crore, lifting margins to 12.4%.
Shares of SML Isuzu are fluctuating between gains and losses on Wednesday, currently trading 0.9% higher at ₹3,137.4. The stock though, is down 23% in the last one month.
