Landmark Cars Limited on Wednesday said it has received approval from KIA India to open a new showroom on BT Road in Kolkata. The facility will be operated by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Landmark Premium Cars Private Limited.
The company already runs one KIA showroom and two workshops in the city. The new outlet is expected to strengthen Landmark's contribution to KIA sales in Kolkata, expand the local car parc, and drive higher throughput for its existing workshops.
With this addition, Landmark will have ten outlets across West Bengal, representing multiple passenger vehicle brands.
Kolkata has emerged as one of KIA India's high-growth urban markets since the Korean carmaker entered India in 2019. Its models, particularly the Seltos and Sonet, have consistently ranked among the top-selling SUVs in the city's competitive passenger vehicle segment. Landmark's expansion reflects the broader industry trend of dealership groups consolidating their presence in high-demand urban clusters.
